content management system
One of the most important aspects of your site is to give your visitors valid and current information. If you have a seasonal menu for your café, or If your scheduled hours change, it's critical to provide the right information.
A good way to keep your clients from calling you for common information is to have it on your site. Someone who sees last years calendar of events on your site will loose trust in your business. All of my clients have some form of simple CMS (content management system). It provides a method to maintain the site themselves without having to muck around in HTML. My clients have business to run and are not Webmasters.
A well structured site presents both static and dynamic elements, transparent to the visitor.
Add/Edit text, add graphics, change prices, and alter times all from an administration page of your site.
