Larry West

Larry West leads the Zelis Data Intelligence team in the execution of the enterprise data strategy to drive business value through analytics, artificial intelligence, and innovation. He has more than 25 years of executive experience directing global operations, data, and applications for high-growth technology companies.

Larry joined Zelis with the acquisition of Sapphire Digital in 2021, where he served in executive technology roles for 18 years. He led the successful integration of Sapphire and Zelis’ data analytics organizations, creating a central vision for data and analytics at Zelis and the development of a modern data technology foundation.

Prior to Zelis, Larry was Chief Technology and Data Officer at Vitals (acquired by WebMD). He was one of the company’s founders and provided strategic leadership and oversight of technology, architecture, and data across the organization. Additionally, Larry held IT leadership roles at frog design, OpenText, and CA Technologies.

Larry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Science from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. He also earned CISSP certification.
