Virtual credit cards (VCC) are one-time use virtual cards that you can enter into your merchant . You will have access to the Zelis Payments Portal, a single secure platform to manage electronic claim payments and data from a network of 485 payers.
Check: Not ready to go paperless? Zelis will provide your paper checks by mail. This payment option does not include access to the Payments Portal.

Zelis helps you go beyond simply registering to receive payments electronically from a single payer. By enrolling with Zelis, you gain access to a single secure platform for electronic claim payments, corresponding data, and financial insights from a network of 485 payers.

No specific software is needed to use Zelis. The Zelis Payments Portal is accessible through your web browser. For further automation Zelis can send data to your clearinghouse or directly into your current practice management system.

It depends on the size of your practice and the payment option you select during enrollment.
When you select the Virtual Credit Card (VCC) option, you will receive virtual card payments for all future payments from all payers in the Zelis network.
For ZAPP Edge enrollment, timing will vary due to the steps involved in verifying account information. The process typically takes between 7-10 business days.
