BOSTON, October 16, 2026 — Zelis®, a leading provider of healthcare technology solutions, today announced its intent to move its out-of-network solutions into a dedicated business that will focus on complex out-of-network related cost containment on behalf of payers. Zelis will remain focused on modernizing the healthcare financial experience through payments, payment integrity, in-network pricing, member engagement and transparency solutions that support payers, providers and members. Both businesses will operate under the existing ownership that supports Zelis today.
The decision comes as evolving regulations, rising healthcare costs and increasing reimbursement complexity are creating distinct opportunities across healthcare payments and cost management. Operating as two dedicated businesses will enable both to align their investments, innovation roadmaps and resources more closely with the needs of their respective clients and the future of the healthcare market.
The new business will be led by Jim Bridges, the President of Zelis’ Price Optimization business unit, which oversees out-of-network solutions today. Zelis will continue to be led by Amanda Eisel.
Zelis expects to complete this by the end of 2026, subject to the completion of customary activities and other applicable conditions.
