Every year during Q4, we ramp up resources across our Communications business, especially around member ID cards and claims communications, to ensure a smooth and seamless open enrollment season for our payers and their members.
In December, we officially opened our new, state-of-the-art production facility — a multi-million-dollar investment designed to help us scale and grow alongside your needs. In December, we delivered a record-breaking 13 million member ID cards and 103 million printed and mailed sheets in a single month, making it the highest single-month production volume in Zelis history.
Since then, we’ve taken decisive action to continue to optimize operations and improve system processing times at the new facility. Looking ahead to open enrollment in 2025, we continue to invest in new equipment and expanded capacity. We’re also exploring new technologies to help us enhance speed, reliability and overall service — so you and your members can count on even more from Zelis.
